If you experience a sudden loss of water, low water pressure, or a drop in water volume or flow this could indicate a water main break. Please call the HBPW to report any water issues you may be experiencing.

Water Pressure: Water pressure is a measure of the force that gets the water through our mains and into your pipes.
Water Flow: Water flow is the amount of water you receive and depends on how much water is being used by other customers around you.
Water Volume: The actual amount of water that flows through the faucets and taps. Your volume depends on the size of the pipes that connect your home to the HBPW water mains.
If you are experiencing low water volume or pressure in certain parts of your home but not others, here are a few tips that you can do at home:
- Check that faucet screens are clean and free of debris or build-up. This build-up can significantly reduce the amount of water that can flow from your faucet.
- Check that all filters have been replaced on all water filtration systems within the manufacturers recommended timeframe. A dirty or clogged filter can cause a loss of water volume and flow to certain parts of your home.
