05/15/2023 FIDO Water Leak Detection

The Hannibal Board of Public Works has hired a company called FIDO to do water leak detection around the City of Hannibal. FIDO uses acoustic listening devices attached to water infrastructure to detect leaks. These listening devices will be instrumental in helping the HBPW become proactive in locating water leaks before they become a bigger problem. FIDO company representatives can be found around town the next few weeks accessing meter pits, valves, hydrants, etc.
