05/17/2023 Annual Pole Top Rescue Training

Last month, our HBPW electric linemen completed their annual pole top rescue training exercise. This training is designed to teach linemen how to safely and swiftly lower an injured fellow lineman to the ground. Linemen are required to complete this rescue effort in 4 minutes or less. The HBPW strives to send our employees home to their families safely every single day. This safety training exercise is just one of many our electric linemen go through to ensure safety is the first priority in their work.
