HANNIBAL BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS CITY WIDE PRECAUTIONARY BOIL ORDER NOTICE LIFTED

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has lifted a boil water order for the Hannibal Public Water System (ID: MO2010344). The system is located in Marion County, Missouri. Department officials lifted the order on August 12, 2023, after test results from water samples taken on August 10 and August 11, 2023, showed that the water is again safe to drink.

Department officials issued the order on August 10, 2023, because E. Coli bacteria was found in some of the water samples taken from the water system on August 8 and August 9, 2023.
