The Hannibal Board of Public Works will be hosting a Public Hearing to discuss water rate adjustments that will take affect January 1, 2019. This water rate adjustment is the first in a series of proposed water rate adjustments that will help fund the granular activated carbon system project that was voter approved in 2016.

Regular meetings for the Board of Directors are held on the third Monday of each month at 5:00 PM at the HBPW office on Industrial Loop Drive, Hannibal. The Board agenda is published on the Friday prior to each meeting and the public is welcome to attend.

The Hannibal Board of Public Works Stormwater Department will be joining other community participants at the Annual CHART Teen Task Force Health Fair to teach visitors about how you can protect your community's watershed and ways that everyone, no matter what age, can help with litter control.

HBPW Stormwater Department presents:  Serving Hannibal's Watershed Teen Night What is watershed?  Why is it important?  What can we do to protect it?  Teens are welcome to attend this free event to learn about how they can help their community protect their watershed system.
